Last week’s Guild Wars 2 Points of Interest stream showcased the Revenant in two significant ways. First, Roy Cronacher spoke about the changes to the Revenant based on feedback from the previous weekend’s event. Second, the newly-announced Shiro Tagachi Revenant legend took the spotlight. There’s a huge infestation problem in Guild Wars 2, and I’m not talking about the minions of Modremoth. I’m talking about all these level 80 characters running around stealing all the events, and breaking them! Low level characters use dynamic events to not only enjoy a good bit of story, but to also supplement their leveling experience. But we max level players have gotten greedy, and turn all the low level maps we infest into barren wastelands!
ArenaNet is ready to pour forth information about the Guild Wars 2 Heart of Thorns expansion, this time Adventure mode. Adventures are small, fast paced adventures that pit players against the clock. Adventures yield scores for leaderboards and bragging rights.
ArenaNet’s Roy Cronacher has taken to the Guild Wars 2 site to reveal the Shiro Legend for Revenants. Titled "Slashing, Devastation, and a Memorable Assassin", Revenants will be able to gain the same abilities as Shiro Tagach.

I never thought I would be saying this, but last night I totally brought the heals in Guild Wars 2! That’s right, you’re eyes aren’t tricking you… thanks to the power of Ventari, healing is now more of a thing in Guild Wars 2. We got some hands on time with the new Legend for the Revenant profession in Heart of Thorns.
Those who have prepurchased the Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns expansion will be happy to hear that this weekend is a special test weekend featuring both the new Revenant class and Strongholds. From Friday, July 10th to Monday, July 13th, players can log in and play a Revenant in any part of the available game world including WvW, PvP, and PvE.
The balance of power between players and world bosses has shifted once again! We’ve become so good at killing these monsters that they needed an HP boost! But is it too much and does it actually make these encounters more of a challenge?
