Everyone has a fighting chance
The latest Heroes of the Storm In Dev post has been published on the official site. In it, readers can get a look at skins and bundles for the next hero coming to the Nexus, none other than Diablo’s Deckard Cain! In addition, devs provide information about skins, mounts, portraits and sprays coming in the same patch, as well as a new bundle.
The Heroes of the Storm site has been updated with a developer post that acknowledges several of the community’s concerns about the game. In addition, devs reassure players that the team IS listening and will be making better communication a priority. “It’s clear to us that some players in the Heroes community are unsure if their concerns are being heard. We take your feedback seriously. We can do better, so we’d like to shed some more light on a few of these topics”.
During the Heroes of the Storm PAX East panel, it was announced that Deckard Cain is coming to the Nexus!
Heroes of the Storm has been updated to bring both Fenix, the new playable Hero, and the Starcraft 20th anniversary items into the game. Fenix has been a mainstay in the Starcraft series as one of the greatest heroes of the Protoss. In addition, players will score some new Starcraft-themed portraits. Lastly a number of UI improvements and battleground adjustments have been added alongside tweaks to Varian, Li Li, and Tracer.
The latest Heroes of the Storm In-Dev has been posted to the game’s official site. In it, readers will learn more about the abilities of the forthcoming Starcraft hero, Fenix, as well as new Starcraft portraits that can be earned just for logging in from March 27th to April 3rd. In addition, the several HotS characters will be receiving new skins including Azmodan, Brightwing, Gul’Dan and Johanna. Lastly, the Carbots team has created a treasure trove of new sprays and portraits.
The Heroes of the Storm Twitter has posted a brief look at the next hero coming to the Nexus. Fenix is one of the more well-known characters from the Starcraft series and is being brought to HotS in celebration of Starcraft’s 20th anniversary. Fenix was a Protoss zealot and the most celebrated warrior of the faction. After dying to the Swarm, “a copy of Fenix’s conscience was reactivated in the body of an experimental purifier”, the form he’ll take in HotS.
The latest Heroes of the Storm patch has been deployed that brings big changes to three of the game’s heroes. Ana, Medivh and Sonya have all received major tuning passes to “open up more interesting ways” for players to use to fit into the larger game.
Maiev Shadowsong is now available on the Heroes of the Storm PTR. She is the most recently announced hero coming to the Nexus and brings an interesting game to bear. Her abilities are tailored to be viable against high-mobility characters.
They may have grudgingly worked together during Legion in World of Warcraft, but Illidan Stormrage and his captor, Warden Maiev Shadowsong have been “frenemies” for 10,000 years. Perhaps Illidan thought the Nexus an escape from her but he’s in for a rude awakening. The Heroes of the Storm Twitter has revealed that Maiev is coming to the Nexus with more to be revealed tomorrow, Friday, January 26th.
Heroes of the Storm has been updated with the latest patch that brings a new hero to the Nexus. Blaze comes to the game from the Starcraft series and, as the name implies, he comes along with a plethora of fiery skills to set the world aflame.
