RPG fans with a bent for metal will be happy to hear that Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast will be launching today for both iOS and Android devices. The game features takes place in a series of worlds inspired by the both art and music from Iron Maiden.

During last month’s E3, Microsoft announced the ‘Play Anywhere’ feature for XBox One and Windows 10 titles. Anyone purchasing a cross-platform title will be able to enjoy the game on XBox One or on a Windows 10 PC. Microsoft announced over the weekend that Play Anywhere will officially launch beginning September 13th.

Snail Games has sent word that its newest mobile RPG, Kingdom Warriors, has officially launched for iOS and Android devices in all regions. The game is set during the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history and is considered a mix of modern ARPG and tactical strategy.

I haven’t sunk a whole lot of time into the game just yet, but there are definitely a breadth of activities and gameplay styles to pursue on offer.

Games of Webzen is a new player-centric event taking place across all of the publisher’s titles, including Asta, ELOA, Rappelz, MU Online, Flyff, C9 and Age of Wulin. KickStarter fatigue is a real thing, at least when it comes to funding forthcoming games. In the first half of 2015, backers pledged over $20M and slightly more than that in the second half of 2015. In the first half of 2016, backers pledged only $8.2M, less than half of either half of 2015.

The video was created using pre-alpha footage and features a wide variety of locations, monsters, a bit of combat and a look at some NPCs.
