The games will support nine languages and owners of previous titles will be able to transfer their Pokemon to the new games.

General: Lovecraftians Rejoice! Call of Cthulhu Coming in 2017

Fans of Lovecraft will be happy to hear that Call of Cthulhu will be heading to PCs and consoles everywhere in 2017. The game is the official game adaptation of Chaosiums tabletop RPG, Call of Cthulhu. CoC is being developed by Cyanide Studios and will feature “RPG-investigation with psychological horror and steal mechanics in an immersive world”.

General: Ubisoft Seeking Investors to Hold Off Vivendi Takeover Bid

According to the Globe & Mail, Ubisoft is fighting a takeover by French company Vivendi. To stave off the takeover, Ubi is looking for Canadian investors. According to the report, Ubi has been in talks with several potential investors in an effort to keep Vivendi at bay as pressure mounts with a hostile takeover underway for Ubi’s gaming sibling, Gameloft.
