The Elder Scrolls: Legends site has been updated with a fairly lengthy blog post to give future players a look at the ‘best practices’ for advanced deck building.

Allods Team Studio has revealed the Closed Beta start for ‘Pirates. Allods Online’ set to begin on July 27th. Players will be able to take part in the Russian-language version of the game (currently the only one available). At this time there is no word on when or if this ship combat based title will be translated to other languages.

Kalypso Media and Games Farm have announced that they are collaborating on a new action RPG called Vikings: Wolves of Midgard. Players will be taking on creatures of myth steeped in the lore and history of the Vikings.

Warhorse Studios will be hosting a special live stream event to show off some not-yet seen material from Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Staff will be on hand to take viewers on a visual tour of the countryside and preview armor and RPG elements in the game.

Koei Tecmo America has announced that the next beta demo for Nioh, its samurai ARPG, will be available to players from August 23rd to September 6th. The beta demo will be larger than the earlier alpha version and give players a good idea of what the game world embodies.

Nightdive Studios published a brief note on the System Shock KickStarter page to let backers and fans know that the game will be coming to PlayStation 4. Calling it a “thank you to our backers”, Nightdive will be releasing System Shock for XBox One, PC and now PlayStation 4.

For the last couple of years, I’ve been fascinated at how few players actually complete their games. It all started when I read this IGN write-up of a GDC talk where the narrative and design leads from Microsoft and Riot revealed that, at most, half of the games they examined were finished.
