Hot off his ninth place finish at Canada Cup with solo Juri, Hsien Chang has been turning a few heads in the Street Fighter V world by showing that the taekwondo temptress can do some work in high level tournament play. As such, master gatherer of CFN replays XusesGB has created a mixclip showing Hsien Chang’s Juri facing off against some fellow high level players in various online sets.

In these assorted replays, you have battles between TS|Sabin’s Dhalsim, Wolfkrone’s Laura, F3|AlucarD’s Balrog and Stupendous’ Zangief — who also put on a show at Canada Cup last weekend — among other Diamond+ players.

Ahead of the qualifier next Friday at their UK offices in Hammersmith, Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe have released the final details on the UK leg of the European King of the Iron Fist qualifiers. The major news is that players in this tournament will be using the latest arcade build of Tekken 7: Fated Retribution which means Bob and Master Raven will be playable, and all entrants will have access to the balance changes which will be in effect during the King of the Iron Fist finals in Japan.

The event will be streamed by Nth Gen Interactive and will be hosted on the official Bandai Namco Europe Twitch channel. OG Busby, one of the UK’s premier Tekken commentators, will be joined by the ESL UK’s commentary duo, PND Ketchup and Mustard to run proceedings and commentate all of the Tekken 7 action. The stream will kick off at 11am GMT on November 11th, with top 8 set to beginning at 4pm.

The Melee community is currently holding one of their biggest annual events, Smash Summit 3, an invitational tournament. With the event currently taking place, the event organizers are sharing a bit of the player reaction to the voting process, as well as details about the atmosphere of the event and top player perception on the current state of the upper echelon of Melee.

We reported on the voting process previously, but here we see the players discussing it themselves. Hearing how the players felt vying for support — and ultimately getting it — is interesting.

Next up, we get a sampling of the atmosphere of the venue. We got a look into what Summit 2 was like earlier this week, and today we get a look at how the current batch of players are acclimating themselves.

Lastly, we have a look at top player opinions on the landscape of the highest level of play for Melee. We hear a bit about what today’s game looks like, and where it’s headed in the near future.

Many of the world’s best Street Fighter V players are now gathering in Seattle for the Capcom Pro Tour North American Finals, at this weekend’s long-awaited Red Bull Battle Grounds! This is the last Street Fighter V CPT event in North America before the world finals in December.

A special post-game show will air on Red Bull TV on November 6th at 5:00pm (Pacific), recapping all of Battle Grounds’ action–with highlights and commentary from popular names in the FGC. From Red Bull eSports:

Following the crowning of the North America Champion of Street Fighter V, the Red Bull Battle Grounds 2-hour post game show will feature the most popular players and talent in the FGC along with expert commentary of the final matches and interviews with the best players in North America. The show will highlight some of the emerging storylines and players’ journeys to the finals, victories and defeats. Red Bull expects to set a new standard on how eSports post game shows are produced as the show will be unlike any other FGC show to date.

Industry luminaries confirmed to appear at the event include Mike Ross, UltraChenTV (“UltraDavid” Graham and James “jchensor” Chen), Tasty Steve, Sajam and Seth Killian. Additional talent confirmed for the event include Zhieep, IFC Yipes, Behrudy, Vicious, RIP, Dogysamich, Duggish, Doctor Stantz, Tuboware and more.

The Capcom Pro Tour North American Finals at Red Bull Battle Grounds will feature a 512-player open bracket on Saturday, with Sunday hosting a grand finale featuring the 14 players who have qualified via North American Ranking Events, and 2 qualifiers from Saturday’s “Last Chance” open bracket.

With fellow member of the Ken Trinity, Echo Fox’s Julio Fuentes set to enter Capcom Cup finals, alongside fellow Ken players EG|Momochi and HM|Eita, Chris has quite the Ken gauntlet to conquer if he wishes to prove himself the best Ken.
