After covering a large variety of non-player characters and spin-off material–as well as the initial cast of 16 earlier this year–the Shadaloo Activity Report is finally ready to unveil its personal research profiles on the six Season One DLC Characters for Street Fighter V, as told by Private Nakagawa. We start with the first three revealed: who also happen to be the most heroic and virtuous of the “Dirty Half-Dozen,” including a soldier looking to avenge his fallen friend and fulfill his duty to protect his country, an isolated man seeking to hone his skills, to a ninja girl who just wants to be a normal teenager.

Private Nakagawa: His shoulders bear the weight of the New Generation, you can call him a member of the Power Age. Carpentry and survival techniques are his skills. Here’s his Command List!

Caught in the Black Moon incident of Shadaloo, he encounters Dhalsim, and takes a step towards a new adventure.

He fights for the peace of his country. He harbors a peculiar view about the existence of Lord Bison’s Shadaloo: as an evil who disturbs World Peace, and as an enemy of his friend Nash. While chasing the trail of Shadaloo, he meets up with Nash again, and although confused by the sudden and total changes in his close friend, he decides to fulfill his duties like a professional. He’s the type of person who believes one should solve their problems by themselves.

With such a good daughter, Guile is really lucky and I hope he’s happy. It would be better for him to give up his pursuit of Shadaloo and just return home…

She’s currently been hired by Karin, but she has no interest in a long-term employment with the Zaibatsu. Her mutual relations with Mika were bad upon their first meeting, as they got off on the wrong foot, but their friendship sprouted from acting together while on duty during a mission.

Bandai Namco is planning to host a closed alpha test for the recently revealed Gundam VS title coming to PlayStation 4. Unlike previous Gundam VS games, the latest member of this franchise is being developed exclusively for consoles, which could merit some changes to the series’ competitive scene and how the priorities of online multiplayer and tournament accessibility are handled.

There is yet to be an announcement of an official release date for the game, and there is not much footage of gameplay besides a few high quality screenshots and a brief teaser trailer (below), but the announcement of this test could mean fans might see some more updates soon.

Back when Guilty Gear Xrd first launched for home consoles a couple of years back, there were two special arcade sticks released for the game: a Tournament Edition 2 variant from MadCatz and Arc System Works’ own Guilty Gear Xrd-themed arcade stick. For Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR-, Arc System Works and Sanwa Denshi are updating the latter arcade stick for this edition of Xrd.

This Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- Fight Stick features the same heavy duty form factor as the previous version. Its large top panel (perfect for resting big hands on) sports a full array for Sanwa Denshi parts for everything, including the control panel buttons on the upper left of the top panel. New to the -REVELATOR- version is the top panel art of series protagonist Sol Badguy, as well as three additional alternate top panel art pieces that users can swap in.

For those interested in picking up this super limited edition stick (only a bit over 300 made), Arcade Shock have brought a very limited number of these sticks over the the US. More importantly, they will be selling them at no markup whatsoever–the $220 price tag is a direct 1:1 conversion of the original Japanese price.

Alongside the recent announcement of the Necalli costume designed by Kazunoko and all of the new additions coming in the September 22nd update to Street Fighter V, Capcom have released the figures of how much money has been added to the Capcom Cup pot through the purchase of special SFV DLC.

You will remember at this year’s Evo the special Capcom Pro Tour bundle was announced, which included the Ring of Destiny stage, costumes for Chun-Li and Cammy (and now Necalli), as well as a special CPT default color scheme for all of the roster. While many did quarrel with the price of the DLC, Capcom have raised roughly $92,182 which will be added to the grand prize pool at this year’s Capcom Cup in December. The actual breakdown of the DLC sales figures means that a minimum of 30% of the DLC revenue goes to the prize pool, with 50% helping fund Capcom Pro Tour productions. This means that Sony receives a maximum of 20% of the DLC earnings, meaning that a minimum of 80% of the DLC profits go back into the CPT in one way or another.

As for the availability of this CPT bundle, the pack will actually go off PSN Store shelves in November, so the money can be tallied up properly and a exact figure can go into the Capcom Cup prize pot. It’s possible that once Capcom Cup is finished, the bundle will go back on sale to help fill the pot back up for Capcom Cup 2017. With the Ring of Destiny stage, there are also plans to integrate more tournaments into the background graphics via server maintenance–but at the moment, Evo and Capcom Cup are the only two tournaments whose logos appear on the screens on the back of the stage.

For the next set of Capcom Fighters Network character profiles, Shadaloo’s Private Nakagawa examines their research pertaining to Street Fighter III’s Judgment Girls, a series of women who appear when a draw occurs at the end of a match to declare a winner. Despite being set before SFIII, some of them have made a return–or rather, a chronological debut–as background characters in Street Fighter V’s Kanzuki Private Beach DLC stage.

Private Nakagawa: Now we’re going to present the members of the Judgment Girls. If you’re asking who they are, just try to play Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. They come out if you have a draw in the last possible round of a match!

Revealed on the Capcom Channel during the course of Tokyo Games Show, a variety of special costumes have been revealed for Street Fighter V. The first costume is a more human design for Necalli, one where he wears samurai armor and has long flowing hair which turns bright yellow upon V-Trigger activation. This costume was actually designed by Capcom Cup 2015 winner Kazunoko, as the mystery prize for winning last year’s competition along side the massive check for $250,000. The winner of this year’s Capcom Cup will also design a costume for a character of their choice.

The other costumes are a special collaboration between Red Bull and Capcom, with Chun-Li and Ryu receiving special Red Bull branded attire to wear in battle. Unlike the Necalli outfit which looks pretty damn cool, these Red Bull designs are hideous. Chun-Li looks like someone doing a terrible Shantae cosplay and Ryu is dressed like the whitest 80s rapper you’ve ever seen. You can check them out in the gallery below but trust me, I doubt anyone will be using these costumes in Capcom Cup 2016. There is also a planned a Story Mode update which will allow players to toggle between the costumes characters wear in Story Mode.  Currently, these are all planned for a release in November.

As promised right after the 2016 Evo Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- championship, a Digital Figure Mode is making its way to the Arc System Works game later this month. On September 30th, the mode will be available thanks to a free patch alongside some as yet unannounced balance changes.

In an introductory trailer, the company explains how the mode works. It functions like a diorama: it allows to set a scene between two characters in any background available from the game. The trailer shows off how flexible it’s going to be. For example, it’s possible to put Sol Badguy in his motorcycle from Story Mode and change his facial expressions and color. Naturally, the game allows to freely move the camera around in 3D and zoom in on the details. PlayStation 4 users can then take a screenshot and share it across social media by using the Share feature.

There’s also a contest tied to a #GGXrd_Photo hashtag that will run until October 10th.
