Deviating from the usual group format, we’ve got an assortment of various CFN Profiles today from the Shadaloo Activity Report: Private Nakagawa informs us on that portion of their personal research that focuses on powerful side characters that have played a significant role in the journeys of some of our favorite World Warriors.
Private Nakagawa: In Thailand, there is an athlete who became a legend in the Muay Thai world. It seems Sagat defeated him during his youth.

Private Nakagawa: Delivering quick attacks seemingly impossible for a person of his bulky size, he cultivated his stamina from never-ending harsh training and began to confront other warriors, defeating them in a commotion, leaving his opponents gasping for air as the fight drags on. He was born in a poor village, and he began to rise to the top–until his fist was the one sitting on the throne of the Emperor, having made a name for himself with his fighting abilities. His finishing move is an invincible knee strike dubbed the “Hanuman Kick.”
Next up we have a character originating in the Sakura Ganbaru manga, Karin Kanzuki’s father, Daigenjūrō Kanzuki!
Private Nakagawa: Wow, what a name! He seems strong… He’s the father of that terrible Karin Kanzuki. Nowadays he doesn’t seem to live at his family’s mansion. What could’ve happened?

Private Nakagawa: The previous head of the Kanzuki family, Karin’s father. He raised his daughter by giving her severe tests and a variety of ordeals. He trembled with fear seeing his daughter passing with ease the tests he himself wasn’t able to overcome. He nevertheless insisted on being the head of the family. But he was overthrown when Karin snatched up his stocks in the conglomerate. [An event that took place in the “Miss Karin Ganbaru” bonus manga short] He refused to renounce his position as the family’s head, and pursued his daughter, flying all around the world, chasing after her, continuing to challenge her to reclaim his right to be the head. But he’s been unsuccessful so far, with a continuous losing streak. It seems this father and daughter aren’t exactly on good terms in their relationship, huh?
Now, we have another Street Fighter papa, though unfortunately, this one is deceased. Makoto’s father, Masaru.
Private Nakagawa: This time we’ll speak of someone who’s sadly passed away. The father of that karate girl Makoto. Hmm, I’m certain I’ve already seen that uniform he’s wearing somewhere before.

Private Nakgawa: The former instructor of Rindōkan, a karate Dōjō in Tosa. He bravely faced any difficulty, a nice guy who hated injustices and crookedness above anything else. He went to any place in the world where there was a man of valor and challenged him, to test his own skills. He was too absorbed with–and addicted to–his training, and didn’t pay much attention to his family, letting the household go to waste. While traveling in South America, he fought with a strong opponent and suffered a crushing defeat. [In the UDON Comics continuity, this was Oro.] Disheartened, he returned home in disgrace. Afterwards, he left this world because of an accident. His special techniques were “Fukiage,” (“Blowing Lift”) a powerful anti-air, and “Natsukusa,” (“Summer Grass”) a hook punch.
Finally, we’re closing this batch of CFN Profiles by taking a look at one of the original Masters of Bushinryū, the teacher of Guy and Maki, Master Zeku!
Private Nakagawa: He’s so Bushinryū-ish. It seems he was the master of both Guy and Maki. Then he must be a fairly strong man, huh?

Private Nakagawa: The 38th Master of Bushinryū. A master of taijutsu. In his heyday, he was called “Zeku the Godspeed.” Nowadays, he has taken a bit of a backseat, and watches over Guy from the shadows, one step behind him. The Bushin style of the Genryūsai, who are the heads of the family, focused primarily on jutsu and Ninpo techniques (ninja arts), but Zeku imported various other taijutsu to sublimate Bushinryū and make it a more practical way of fighting.
