WBA Bantamweight champion Jamie McDonnell (24-2-1, 11 KOs) will face new challenger Javier Chacon (20-2, 5 KOs) on Saturday night at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on the undercard of the Nathan Cleverly-Tony Bellew rematch.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle Sequel Spotted on Play-Asia
Well, it seems as if Play-Asia’s mysterious game listings aren’t confined to titles that have already been announced.
Earlier today, Fabian Ortiz of ShonenGameZ noticed a peculiar addition to the online retailer: a sequel to Bandai Namco Games and CyberConnect2’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle.
Released in much of the world earlier this year, All Star Battle forsook the pure 2D fighting of Capcom’s popular arcade title in favor of their own unique blend of 2D and 3D action. While not a huge hit with the competitive community (due in part to its sub-optimal 30 frames-per-second gameplay) the JoJo’s license helped the title become one of the fastest-selling fighters in Japan.
Play-Asia’s listing details a PlayStation 3 release sometime in March 2015 but, as of now, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle 2 should be firmly placed in the rumor category.

Skullgirls Encore and all of its downloadable extras have been marked down by two-thirds, or 66% for all you fraction haters out there. That means the game itself is only $5.09, while each additional piece of extra content that has been released since Lab Zero Games’ successful fundraiser is $1.69 apiece. Eliza, the latest roster addition, will be available for free until December.
With these sales in place, you’ll be able to pick up Skullgirls, along with Squigly, Big Band, and the bonus color palette bundle for less than the game itself is normally priced. I’d call that a hell of a bargain.

Dead or Alive 5 Last Round PC Release Possibly Revealed by Play-Asia Listing
Next year, Tecmo Koei and Team NINJA are planning to release Dead or Alive 5 Last Round on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, but it appears as if one more platform may also be joining that list.
According to a listing discovered on Play-Asia, Last Round will also be available for PC during the same month as its console counterparts. Similar to other platforms, there will be multiple versions to choose from: regular, collector’s edition, and Saikyou Package. The latter in particular is packed to the brim with bonus items, including four mini-figures, eight posters, a Dead or Alive history book, and much more.
While this isn’t official confirmation that Last Round is coming to PC, leaks like this have revealed some interesting stuff before, such as Mortal Kombat X and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax’s console characters. If it does turn out to be true, however, this will be the very first game in the series to appear on the platform, a big step for a series that has remained true to arcades and consoles.
Dead or Alive 5 Last Round is scheduled to launch in North America on February 17, with a European release following shortly after on February 20.

Projectile Fighter Lethal League Gets New Content and Balance Patch
The folks at Reptile Games recently pushed out a new patch for their non-traditional fighting title, Lethal League. If this is your first time hearing about the game, think of it as the most intense round of Rose Ball that you’ve ever played.
The patch brought several new additions to the game including a new character, Dice, who brandishes a ping pong paddle to lay waste to his opponents. While the paddle may not seem quite so cool as the weapons Candy Man or Latch bring to the field, the patch notes claim that the new fighter can “deflect and give a spin to almost anything at any speed,” which could stand to add even more chaos to an already hectic game. The game also received a new mode, a new stage, and some new music to keep things interesting.
Of course, there were plenty of balance tweaks added with this update and you can find those below.
Patch Notes
This update adds a new character to the Lethal roster, Dice, the cunning ping pong player. Dice wields an average ping pong paddle with such immense force and control that he’s able to deflect and give a spin to almost anything at any speed.
And there’s more! All characters can now use expressions, like NICE or BRING IT. Added to that is a character unique animation. A new mode has been added called ‘Strikers’, give it a spin by switching the ‘Free For All’ tab and see what that is all about. Another reason to start ballin’ again is the raised XP level, going up to 33 now with new palettes and a special ball as reward.

Focus Attack, Donate Cans Returns to Colorado for Another Charity Food Drive Tournament
David Watt and the fine folks at Strike First Colorado are set to host a follow-up to highly successful charity tournament they put on last year. Focus Attack, Donate Cans (or FADC for you Street Fighter players out there) gathered 1000 cans of non-perishable food and 16 turkeys for the Denver Rescue Mission during the inaugural event, and the organizers are looking to surpass those numbers this weekend.
Players will be able to get into the doors with ten cans of food, with an additional five cans for each game they want to enter. FADC 2014 will feature competition in Ultra Street Fighter IV, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, King of Fighters XIII, BlazBlue: Chronophantasma, and Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late.
In addition to foodstuffs, First Strike will also be taking monetary donations, 100% of which will go to the Denver Rescue Mission to help them purchase more Thanksgiving turkeys for the local homeless population. This is the perfect way for all you charitable folks out there to get in on the action if you won’t be able to make the tournament in person.
A special PayPal account has been set up to take in such donations, but you can also donate to the Denver Rescue Mission directly by visiting their website.

Don’t Panic! PlayStation Network Going Down for Maintenance on November 17
Sony recently made note that PlayStation Network will go down on November 17, for a number of hours so that they can perform a handful of background improvements to the network.
As if Mondays weren’t bad enough, right?
Fortunately, there’s a work-around. Should you log into PlayStation Network between now and the outage’s scheduled start time (10 AM PST, 1 PM EST), online play will still work along with third-party services like Netflix. Should you forgo this option, however, the wait will only be around six hours long, so don’t stress about being away from netplay for too long.
Better than being completely in the dark, I say.
