Blizzard has unveiled its latest hand-sculpted, hand-painted high-end collectible statue. The 13.5′ statue is none other than Widowmaker from Overwatch. She comes in at a cool $150 and preorders have already opened. Delivery is expected on or before the end of Q3 2017.
Overwatch – Professional eSports League to Feature 16 Local Teams
Overwatch League Commissioner Nate Nanzer is propposing that the league begin with a slate of sixteen teams. Eleven would be based in NA cities: Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Washington DC, Dallas, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Miami, Toronto and Mexico City. Three would reside in the EU: Paris, Frankfurt and London. Two would start in Asia: Seoul and Shanghai.

Jeff Kaplan has taken to the Overwatch forum to let players know that Blizzard is entertaining the idea of allowing players to create their own custom maps via an editor.
Overwatch – New Tanky Orissa to Go Live on March 21st
Blizzard has released a new Overwatch hero preview for Orissa. In addition, it was revealed that she will be coming off of the PTS and into the live game on March 21st. This means PC, PlayStation 4 and XBox One players will be able to see if Orissa is as formidable a tank as she has appeared to be during testing.
Overwatch – Jeff Kaplan Dampens Hope for a Switch Version
Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan is pouring cold water on a Nintendo Switch version of the game. Speaking on Reddit, Kaplan wrote on Reddit, “I’m loving the Switch! My second favorite gaming platform of all time is the 3DS. Getting OW on the Switch is very challenging for us. But we’re always open minded about exploring possible platforms.”
Overwatch – ‘Binary’ Comic Details How Bastion Joined Overwatch
The last time we saw Bastion outside of Overwatch was in a short film showing his gentler side. That video, however, never revealed how he became part of the Overwatch team. Blizzard is wrapping up that loose end with the release of a new web comic called ‘Binary’. In it, Torbjorn is sent out into the forest to hunt down the feared E-54 unit but comes away with a new ally.
Overwatch – Orisa Named as the 24th Hero
Orisa is the new Overwatch character, the game’s 24th. In a new developer video, Blizzard’s Jeff Kaplan introduces her, speaks of some of her background and her abilities. Orisa was created by Efi Oladele to protect her city. This single heroic unit is a tank character with a fusion driver as her primary weapon (projectile based machine gun with good range). Her weapon also sends out a pulse to position or reposition her targets.

Blizzard’s Overwatch took home a pair of big awards from last night’s Game Developers Choice Awards. Overwatch brought home the night’s biggest award by being named Game of the Year. It also scored for Best Design.
Overwatch – Latest Update Brings the Game Browser Function Online
The Overwatch site has been updated with the great news that the Game Browser function is now live in game. With the new feature, players will be able to create their own games, set the rule parameters, customize hero abilities (movement speed, health, damage, etc.) and publicize it to others within their region.
Overwatch – Latest Efi Oladele Teaser Fans Flames of Speculation
The latest Overwatch character teaser is out, this time a “to do” list written by 11-year-old Efi Oladele. The list specifies a number of items she wants to collect including a “UR-15 Chassis” and a “fusion driver”. What it all means is anybody’s guess but it builds on last week’s revelations that the Doomfist was stolen from Numbani.
