If you’ve been on the fence about Overwatch, you’ll have your chance to try before you buy with a free weekend. From November 18-21, Overwatch will be free for players on PlayStation 4, XBox One and PC. All twenty-two heroes and thirteen maps will be available as well as Quick Play, Custom Games, and the Weekly Brawl.

Plays.tv is now fully integrated with Overwatch to allow for full match replays, as well as get zeroed in looks at every multi-kill, death, resurrection, elimination and Play of the Game. The integration gives players the opportunity to pull out the perfect visual to share for bragging rights.
Overwatch – Perfect for Halloween: Appear Offline Rises from the Grave
Jeff Kaplan has posted on the Overwatch forum that its team and the other Blizzard game teams are interested in bringing the “Appear Offline” ability to the Blizzard launcher. The fact that the feature is missing is very keenly fate in recent weeks after the launch of the Blizzard Voice feature that allows players to “quick join” any of their friends in chat with or without being invited.

One of the most enduring mysteries over the last couple of months is the next Overwatch character. Blizzard has been teasing out information about Sombra by hiding messages in coded text found on teaser sites, in images and within the game.

In a new post on the Overwatch forum, Game Director Jeff Kaplan has announced that competitive Season 3 will begin on December 3, 2016. There are some significant changes coming for the next competitive season, all of which are currently being tested on the PTR.

Overwatch – Jeff Kaplan – New Hero ‘Soon’, One Next Year & New Maps
The latest Overwatch developer update has been posted on the game’s YouTube channel. In it, Game Director Jeff Kaplan talks about some hot topics in the community including changes to Symmetra, the spectator system, a new hero coming “sooner rather than later”, a hero in the works for next year and several new maps in development that may bring some new mechanics into the game.
