The folks at Perfect World hooked us up with 50 T6 Valiant Class Tactical Escorts for Star Trek Online: New Dawn!

Star Trek Online players have raised $35,000 for an anti-bullying organization founded by former Deep Space Nine actor Chase Masterson (Leeta)called Pop Culture Hero Coalition. The funds were raised through the sale of a a limited quantity of T1 ships and shuttles and T6 ships that were released on Groupees.com on November 12th.

Cryptic Studios has revealed the design and statistics for the new Jupiter Class Carrier, the one voted into the game by the Star Trek Online Community. In addition to stats and abilities, players will find out what items will come with the new ship, including its console and the new Starship trait.

The Star Trek Online site has been updated with a look at the three new Tier 6 Starships that are now included in the game. There is one ship for each faction, each complete with appropriate stats: Valiant Class Tactical Escort, Kor Bird-of-Prey, and the Malem Light Warbird.

Perfect World Entertainment has announced that Arc Voice will now be a staple feature of the multi-game launcher. Arc Voice will allow players to build friends lists, create private and public channels, and will allow for both voice and text chat. Arc Voice will be part of the launcher after tonight’s maintenance.

Star Trek Online is boldly going into a new storyline with the arrival of the New Dawn expansion. New Dawn brings with it overhauled content, a brand new story arc, new features and the return of iconic characters from the television series.

Team Omega has been voted as the finest ship after several rounds of voting by Star Trek Online players. The ship will be the newest Federation carrier that will join the game soon.

After nearly a month of voting the final two ships in the Star Trek Online contest where players get to choose the next ship to be included in the game are ready for player input. Voting has begun between Ship Alpha and Ship Beta and will end on October 22nd at midnight.

Cryptic Studios and Perfect World Entertainment have announced that Star Trek Online will launch its next major story arc on October 27th. Season 11: New Dawn will see players embark on a new journey taking place immediately after the tragic events that brought the Iconian War to a close.

Cryptic Studios has announced that it will be hosting a special live-stream event with Chase Masterson, aka Leeta from Deep Space Nine, on Tuesday, October 6th at 11:00 am Pacific / 2:00 pm Eastern in the Star Trek Online Twitch.tv channel.
