Tung Fu Rue may be old, but clearly age has sharpened him into a killing machine. With this most recent combo video for The King of Fighters XIV — based on the 3.01 patch — Tung shows off some insane air Senpuu Ken loops, with nearly every combo doing at least 70% damage. He also shows off amazing restand combos that make him look more like a Marvel character than anything. Perhaps he should trade in his Fu Manchu for a curly mustache.
With Season 3 coming to a close, the inevitable wish list discussion has begun. Which characters would people like to see in the next season of Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition? For VesperArcade, there’s a decent mix of obvious characters with less likely, but equally interesting choices.
While obvious fan-favorites such as Dudley, C. Viper, and Fei-Long make the list, we also hear some other less common names make the cut for them. Would many people clamor for the possibility of getting their hands on Sodom from Street Fighter Alpha or Eagle from Street Fighter 1?
To finish off, they also discuss the possibility of entirely new characters.

SoulCalibur VI is still going strong and the tech is still filling up our tipline. Let’s take a look at some of the high damage and crazy tech that’s floated in today:
TesuuArisatofound an interesting loop that exploits the fact that Sophie’s WS B+K locks air control on its first hit.

And closing out today’s post is RossLipps , who shows us an assortment of exceptionally odd interactions that can occur in SCVI, including back-turned clashes, GI’s, and strange parries against Taki’s projectile.
Persona Entertainment continues their journey through the cast of The King of Fighters XIV with yet another combo video. This time, they focus on newcomer Luong.
Luong is an interesting character because she’s one of the rare fighters who is able to extend their MAX mode combos even after the mode has ended. This means that she gets a few more options to end her combos after MAX has ended.
Check out the video below. As usual, notation for these can be found in the description on YouTube.

Over the weekend Fighting EX Layer developers arika showed off a demonstration video for some recent balance changes in the works for two of the game’s Gougi decks: Thunderbolt and Stealth Raptor.
With how integral running has become, arika has decided to retool Stealth Raptor around a new running dash, then slightly nerf the short hop by adding a half-meter cost. Thunderbolt users, however, have much more to be pleased with: it’s all buffs for them, in the form of a new, very fast ground-to-air teleport.
Get started in SoulCalibur VI with the iconic samurai.
New to SoulCalibur, or 3D games in general? On-The-Box protagonists are usually good places to start when learning a new engine, and SoulCalibur VI‘s Mitsurugi is no exception. Armed with a versatile toolkit that contains mid-range and applies hellish pressure up close, Mitsurugi is rarely without options of some kind on the battlefield.
Since learning Mitsurugi will inevitably help you learn Calibur as a whole, we thought it’d be best to make our first beginner’s guide centered around the series-original samurai. We’ll go through the whole cast in a similar manner, and build up basic knowledge of the whole cast’s primary goals from the ground up.
