FrameWhisperer breaks down everything to know about the Bears of Tekken 7

Do you want to play as a Bear in Tekken 7? Are you on a losing streak because you have no idea what Kuma does? If you fall into either one of these camps, FrameWhisperer Tekken‘s comprehensive Kuma & Panda guide is worth your time.

In the past, Kuma has been a low tier, gimmicky character with an inordinate amount of range and knowledge checks. This, combined with an odd hurtbox that can change juggle options for his opponents, can give new players trouble the first time they encounter him in the wild. But in Tekken 7, the Bears now also have decent block punishment options and combo damage, making them an even bigger threat then they ever were before.

desk shows off amazing combos inside the Space Stone’s box in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite

People who have been trapped inside the box created by the Space Stone’s  Infinity Storm in Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite have naturally found themselves frustrated. Not only do they have to worry about their opponents opening them up with easy-to-set-up offense, there seems to be very little damage they can do due to their movement restrictions.

However, desk shows that although your space restrictions can be frustrating, there are many move properties that change — allowing you to do box-specific combos that can still deal a lot of damage. This allows characters like Nemesis to chain super into super, or Chun-Li to stay close to her opponents to do follow-ups. These sort of discoveries make it inspiring to practice box-specific setups so that you can actually “think inside the box.”

Pokkén Tournament DX wall combo re-stand glitch manipulates scaling for big combo damage

There’s no question that wall combos in Pokkén Tournament DX hurt. Many characters are capable of pumping out almost 40% or more damage optimally, without spending any other resources.

But just in case that’s not enough for you, there is a glitch with wall combos in Pokkén that let’s you completely bypass the damage scaling your combo should be taking. As demonstrated by 21 Hits, combining this glitch with resets can lead to round-winning situations off of a single scramble — what can you come up with for your character?

CrossUPDP shares max damage combos for Street Fighter V’s Ryu

CrossUPDP is back with more of his “MAX DAMAGE” combo tutorial series, and today he’s tackling the much-maligned season 2.5 Ryu.

While Ryu may have gotten his Dragon Punch back thanks to the mid-season balance patch, many still regard the original World Warrior as relatively weak in SFV. We can see here, however, that has less to do with damage output and more to do with the situational, counter-punching nature of his toolset. Ryu’s damage output still hurts when he scores his hits, sometimes even out-damaging and out-stunning the glorious Lord Bison for the same resources. Which just goes to show: damage is a good thing, but it’s not everything when it comes to the overall strength of a character.

Learn about SonicFox’s history and his rise to dominance in this video by Shujinkydink

Dominique “SonicFox” McLean, from Team Echo Fox, is one of the most dominant players to have burst into the scene in the past few years. Few players have been able to come into the scene and demonstrate the same consistency and skill as SonicFox has.

Now, a new video by Shujinkydink takes a look at SonicFox’s rise to prominence. The video below asks the question of whether or not SonicFox was always as dominant as he is now, all while looking at his humble beginnings.

Take note however that the video focuses more on his career in NetherRealm Studios’s games, so we don’t see as much of his achievements in games like Dead Or Alive 5 and Skullgirls.
