While not the most prominent fighting game series on the planet in the competitive scene, the Dragonball series has been a mainstay of fighting games for a long while. They are often considered casual, but fun enough to pull out to play for those crazy nights when you’re bored with more hardcore competitive play.

That doesn’t mean there isn’t the potential for interesting combos within its game mechanics. Here is a combo video for Raspberry, which shows some advanced combos that require great timing–with some being doggedly long!

HyperX’s Daigo Umehara experienced a bit of a character crisis at the beginning of season 2. We saw him play around with Urien, and Guile for a time. Whether this was exploring potential new mains, or practicing characters he has difficulties with in order to understand them, has yet to be fully determined.

Regardless, we now see him back with his trademark Ryu in season 2, and doing well. However, we see him running through a bit of a wall as he faces EmuEmu’s Zangief online.

Are we seeing Daigo face another matchup he struggles with? Time will tell.

What’s better than a Tekken Tag Tournament 2 combo video? Perhaps it’s a vocaloid-themed Tekken Tag Tournament 2 combo video? If that’s the case, then this one definitely delivers.

Here we have a combo video featuring most of the girls of the series–excluding Anna, Nina and Julia from the mix. While there are a couple of exceptions, with Armor King and Lars making guest appearances, you’ll see the girls showing off their best combos–while dressed up as everyone’s favorite holographic singer Hatsune Miku.

Some V-Reversals are better than others; some characters have a basic “get off me” pushback, while some enjoy some escape mobility–Cammy’s V-Reversal is pretty sneaky and employs a mix of both. If you’re struggling to deal with opponents pulling this pesky move out and breaking your momentum, the video below explains how to use some basic responses to punish Cammy’s V-Reversal quite strongly–examples include Ibuki’s bomb, a parry and combo follow-up from Ryu, or exploiting Cammy’s airborne state with a Wingless Airplane from R. Mika. Not every character is specifically covered, but this should you help devise your own counter-tactics for anyone!

Super Smash Bros. Melee highlights typically feature names like Armada, Hungrybox, Mew2King, and Mango. However, there are still emerging stars rising within the ranks of the game, looking to eclipse those names in the rankings. Even Hungrybox admits that at some point, he expects to see a group of 20 players trading major wins.

With that, Tafokints at Yahoo! Esports picked five players that he expects to see turn some heads in Melee over the span of 2017. He picks out players like Zain, Squid, Crush, Captain Faceroll, and Syrox to start rising through the ranks due to their results, over some of the top players of the game last year.

The Turbulent Wind spins into Season 2!

In Street Fighter V Season 2, through the mix of buffs and nerfs across the cast, Rashid doesn’t come out too badly. He remains a fun character to play and and a potentially infuriating opponent in the hands of a player familiar with his speed, mobility, and mixups!

THE COOL KID93 is a clear Rashid fan, and naturally is eager to share what the Turbulent Wind is capable of in his Season 2 build. Check out some samples in the combo compilation video below!

Alienware’s Nemo was without question one of the strongest Vegas in Street Fighter V season 1, but has made it no secret that he has put his claw away. Now he is bent on world domination, as he has moved on to Urien–and is doing extraordinary with the character.

Certainly Urien has benefited a lot from the changes in this new season, and this compilation video shows how well Nemo has adjusted to his new choice. This is certainly a video to watch if you’re learning Urien!

Team Secret’s Poongko is always the little engine that could. While he is a great player and can shock the world, he often gets inside his own head to cause his demise in major events. It also probably didn’t help that he diversified his time between Street Fighter V and Tekken 7 over last year.

However, when he faces Youdeal’s Haitani, who placed fourth at Capcom Cup, it looks like he is starting to become more poised in this game. Watch as Poongko shows his strength in Season 2 against the best Necalli on the planet currently.
