Late last week, it came to light that players could suddenly log into their Call of Duty accounts using BattleNet credentials. This led many to believe that any future Call of Duty games may be coming to BattleNet in much the same way that Destiny 2 did last year. As a result, World of Warcraft players are speculating on a rise in token prices and are beginning to amass gold with the knowledge that, if CoD arrives, it can be purchased with BNet Balance that can be bought with a WoW Token.

The latest World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth alpha build has been deployed to the PTR and dataminers have uncovered a great secret for the Alliance: a Kul’Tiran Druid Bear form. It’s the second unique Druid form with the Zandalari Trolls also getting unique Druid forms. The flying, ground, Feral, Balance and Restoration forms have not yet been found.

Players helped bring in over $1.8M through this one pet alone. Over the years, World of Warcraft players have contributed over $15M to charitable causes through the sales of these battle pets and through other charitable donation opportunities.

In Battle for Azeroth, World of Warcraft players will earn the Heart of Azeroth neck item that will provide players with a number of passive and / or RNG procs that unlock as the item is leveled up. This is somewhat similar to the current artifact system. Up to now, little has been known about Heart of Azeroth, but thanks to BfA alpha dataminers at Wowhead, we know a bit more with particular regard to Hunter and Shaman classes.

Fans of all things transmog in World of Warcraft can take part in Season 2 of the Trial of Style. From now through March 9th, players can queue up for a 6-player scenario where they will have two minutes to create a transmog set based on the presented theme. Once the two minutes are complete, two players will be pulled up to the stage to show off their creations and to have them judged by the remaining four players. Winners receive tokens that can be traded for new transmog sets.

Have you ever loved a game so much that you poured your heart and soul into a fan project? One World of Warcraft player falls into this category after having created a 172-page graphic novel centered around the events before and during Legion. The story not only includes Grimsparkle’s characters, but also well-known community members such as Percula from WoWHead and TradeChat, to name a pair.

North American players can now queue up for the brand new battleground called The Seething Shore. The battleground is considered one of the precursors to the upcoming Battle for Azeroth expansion and sees players facing off against the opposite faction to claim Azerite, a new resource that could change the face of warfare on Azeroth forever. The battleground will be available for one week only in each region and will be released in its final form with the expansion.
