It appears that more Diablo 3-like content is coming to World of Warcraft in v7.3. Dataminers over at IcyVeins.com have uncovered both the “Depleted Riftstone” and the “Charged Riftstone”, the latter of which “allows entry into Lesser Rifts and Greater Rifts”. Diablo 3 players will be intimately familiar with the term as the content sending players (solo or in groups) into randomly generated locations with tiered difficulty.

A new test version has arrived on the World of Warcraft PTR now that the Tomb of Sargeras raid is present in the live game. This time, PTR players will get a first look at the upcoming v7.3 content that will see the fight taken to the home world of the Burning Legion, Argus.

Blizzcon 2017 is expanding into a new hall and a new round of tickets will be sold as a result. Interested folks can try to lay hands on one on July 5th at 7:00 pm Pacific / 10:00 pm Eastern. Tickets are being sold through Universe.com for $199 each and will include full access to the two day event.

Controversial PvP Lead Brian Holinka is leaving the World of Warcraft team to pursue another opportunity within the company. He has been with the WoW team for five years and is the latest in a string of senior developers to leave the team.

World of Warcraft developer Ornyx took to the community forum to let players know that a hotfix is incoming that will significantly reduce the amount of time it takes to place an artifact research order. At the moment, research can take about 26 to 40 hours to complete. After the hotfix, it will take a measly 4.

The Tomb of Sargeras is now open in World of Warcraft. With today’s arrival of v7.2.5, World of Warcraft raiders can now start the journey to (the unofficial) world first Sargeras kill. In addition, players will find a host of class changes, a plethora of new “Legiondaries”, the addition of the Black Temple timewalking raid, and the new Chromie scenario among other things.

Today’s 7.2.5 patch brings a number of big changes to World of Warcraft. Among other things, it enables The Black Temple timewalking for next month and brings Chromie’s scenario on board as well as the Trial of Style, Auction House Dance Studio and more. Most of these events are time gated so it depends where they fall on the month-to-month calendar for activation. In addition, most classes/specs have received “tuning” and more than a few Legiondaries have been added.

Blizzard has posted its “Legion Patch 7.2.5 Survival Guide” to introduce players to changes coming in the next World of Warcraft patch. According to the dev team, the patch is on track for a June 13th release. The patch will be introducing a number of significant changes to several classes as well as bringing the Tomb of Sargeras raid online, the new Adventures of Chromie scenario, all class mounts, Black Temple timewalking, the new Dead Mines pet battle dungeon, Trial of Style & more.

With today’s World of Warcraft server restart, players can now complete the final part of the Breaching the Tomb achievement and earn their class mounts. The Strike Them Down quest is available on the Broken Shore that will grant 5,000 Nethershards, 1500 Armies of Legionfall reputation as well as unlock the class mount quest.

Heroine of the Bronze Dragonflight and time-traveler deluxe, Chromie will be making a star appearance in World of Warcraft 7.2.5. The specialty of the bronze dragonflight is, of course, the ability to alter the bounds of time and space. As a result, poor Chromie will be dying again and again and yet again when the update hits.
