Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st]‘s Linne is a lightning fast, pixie-like character with a double jump, roll, and one of the game’s more oppressive fireball approach tools. With all the options she has to mix-up and pressure the opponent (particularly in a game where zoning and footsies makes that tough to do) its important to convert off any opportunities that present themselves.

The Magic 4 is, generally, the fastest counter-hit launcher a character will have in Tekken 7. The trade off for these big buttons — which usually have decent hitboxes and frame trap after jabs more often than not — is that the juggle damage will either be limited, or the combo itself will be excessively difficult (or impractical).

Well, one thing Kazumi certainly isn’t, as hfblade demonstrates, is limited. If you aren’t using this brilliant tool in your own Kazumi gameplay, check out the video above to have a glimpse of what you’re missing out on.

Despite having one of the smallest move-lists in the game, Tekken 7‘s Shaheen is a well-rounded character with excellent pokes and damage. On top of that, there’s enough real depth to the character that That Blasted Salami, one of the Tekken communy’s best content creators, was able to put together a nearly hour-long master class for the Saudi Falcon.

Street Fighter Carnival 11 is Mikado Arcade’s currently-ongoing, month-long, multi-game tournament series for a wide variety of classic (and sometimes, obscure) arcade titles. This series is well under way, so start from the beginning if you want to catch up!

Typically, Mikado Arcade tries to keep it as old-school as possible, but newer title will occasionally find their way into SFC’s frame. Such is the case with the first of today’s tournaments, Arc System Works’ BlazBlue: Central Fiction.

Our next VOD is for their Fighting Layer tournament. ARIKA’s Fighting EX Layer drops in about a week and ARIKA, if you’re listening, there’s still time to add Capriccio and Exodus. You can do it.
