TheMainManSWE shows us which moves make Dragonov top tier in Tekken 7

The name Sergei Dragunov has practically become synonymous with high-level Tekken 7 play, and not without good reason. As various tutorials, combo videos, and grand finals tournament matches illustrate, he’s got lot of good tricks up his trenchcoat’s sleeves — and he’s worth spending the time learning every one.

Breaking down what makes Dragunov so strong is Tekken technician TheMainManSWE, who admits to cavalierly referring to the Russian soldier as “overpowered.” In his this video he explains his reasoning for dubbing Dragunov with the title of OP, and demonstrates that he’s not broken, he’s just well-equipped for battle.

Check out TheMainManSWE’s video below — and for more Dragunov tech, you can check out this breakdown, or this punishment guide.

Akira Toriyama’s new creation for Dragon Ball FighterZ, Android 21, could appear in anime and other games

Little is still known about Android 21, the bespectacled female fighter whose origins begin in Dragon Ball FighterZ. Though she has no past presence in any other part of the fictional world of the Z Fighters, recent news says that may not be the case for her future.

Reportedly, Bandai Namco producer Tomoko Hiroki confirms that 21 was created solely with Dragon Ball FighterZ in mind, but she says that if she becomes popular with the fans, the possibility of her appearing in Dragon Ball manga, anime, or other video games is on the table.

Additional info acquired from a Bandai Namco group interview confirmed that she was designed by Akira Toriyama himself. After being given only a description of her personality and role in the game’s story, the rest was left to the Dragon Ball originator’s creative whims — and the character as we see her now is his own finished work.

A character created for a video game crossing over into an anime or manga may be something that has never happened to the Dragon Ball series before, but the fact that Android 21 was created by Toriyama-san makes the idea less than far-fetched. History Behind the Warrior covers the origin(s) of Tekken’s Devil Gene

Even for longtime fans of the Tekken games, trying to understand the origins of the series’ infamous Devil Gene can be a difficult task. Once thought to be the result of a deal with the devil, and later edited to be an inherited burden spanning generations, the demonic trait has been a centerpiece of the Tekken story — but is still one of its most mysterious topics.

Hopefully, History Behind the Warrior’s video on the Devil Gene can help clear the air on what it is, what it’s been, and what we still don’t know. You can check it out below — and if you’re feeling festive, you can check out their video on Tekken and Darkstalkers’ most spooky combatants.

Echo Fox is raffling off 25 Tokido tape measures — Here’s the story behind it, and how you can enter to win one

If you’re a fan of Echo Fox|Tokido — or competitive Street Fighter V in general — it’s likely you’ve seen or heard about the Tokido tape measure incident. Preceding one of his matches at TWFighter Major in Taiwan, The reigning Evo 2017 champion pulled out a tape measure and proceeded to measure the distance from his face to the screen — presumably to ensure that he was the perfect distance from the screen — to prevent eye damage, and ensure optimal performance!

Feeding off of the hype and horseplay that arose from the FGC following the reveal of his “new tech,” Echo Fox has announced that they will be raffling off 25 “officially licensed” Tokido tape measures. The novelty measuring tools come with the champ’s face printed on the side so that you can –as Echo Fox put it in their tweet — “Measure your success with Murderface judging you.” The giveaway ends on October 25th.

You can enter to win your official Echo Fox|Tokido tape measure (via Gleam-based social media sign-ups) here. Unfortunately, it appears to be open to US residents only.

He’s mean, he’s green, but he’s not from planet Namek and he’s definitely not your friend. Bandai Namco have dropped a Dragon Ball FightrZ introduction video for Cell, the arrogant experiment who achieved his “perfect” form by absorbing strong fighters.

Cell was seen in Dragon Ball FighterZ as early as the E3 reveal trailer, and could have possibly been the earliest foreshadowing of the coming of the androids, since his own story arc in the manga and anime series overlaps with theirs.
