My feelings on the subject of Star Citizen are shrouded in more shades of grey than the murkiest Seattle skyline. I’m a Golden Ticket holder, Imperator, High Admiral, and very nearly the first writer to report on the game as being a major movement in the gaming community. If I wasn’t the first to point out how it’d shape the future of the industry, I was dang close.

It’s been a slow news period for Eternal Crusade, since the announcements of Halloween. Behaviour Community Manager, Katie Fleming informed us that the Rogue Trader Store was switching from weekly updates to bi-weekly updates, so that the production team could buckle down and focus on getting the first combat module ready for release. Most fansseem okay with that, given that the 10v10 module will give us some actual gameplay to test for ourselves.

The latest Elite: Dangerous newsletter contains some surprising news for fans of offline single player games. The original KickStarter project described the multiplayer game and the single player game that would not require an online connection. However, with the latest newsletter, the Elite: Dangerous team has revealed that the single player iteration will need to "connect to the server from time to time" to keep the game fully updated.

Score Decent Starter Weapons Via DAI Site Quest

Bioware is giving Dragon Age: Inquisition players a chance to earn some pretty sweet starter weapons (staff, dagger or great sword) with a lore-filled quest that takes part completely on the DAI site. Players need to be logged into their Origin accounts, watch four videos with a pretty fun mini-game attached and, at the end, will be rewarded with all three weapons. Weapons will be made available on log into Dragon Age: Inquisition.
