Shroud of the Avatar’s Richard Garriott has participated in a brief interview with Polygon to talk about how the game has entered a “blurry state” between Early Access and launch. Though SotA is not quite ready to say “launched”, the team is applying launch standards to its player base.

Shroud of the Avatar: Star Citizen Cross Promotional Items Revealed

Fans of Shroud of the Avatar and Star Citizen can now take part in a cross-promotional package of goodies between the two games. For Shroud players, both a $65 Star Citizen Aeronaut Helmet Starter Bundle and a $400 Star Citizen Airship City Home are available. The latter can float over a city lot as a home and allowing nearly all ground space to be available for other items.
