VesperArcade speculates about a new character hidden in F.A.N.G’s backstory in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition

While we already know the roster coming to Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition during Season 3, it is never too early to speculate on who may make the cut in Season 4. As such, VesperArcade — after reading the back story on the CFN portal — has his own ideas on who might show up.

Recapping the backstory posted about F.A.N.G, he speculates that hidden in his storyline is a potential new character named Phantom, whom F.A.N.G finds and trains at the end of the story. While it may come to be nothing, the speculation behind it is intriguing enough to pay attention.

Body Count Fighting’s 5th entry into SoCal’s title-defense series, BCF, will be airing live next weekend at 5:00 p.m. PT on April 7, 2018. And while each competitor that steps into BCF’s ring wants to walk away with the championship belt, there’s a little more on the line this time then just a title.

This time, there’s history.

At the conclusion of BCF4, Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition pro Chris Tatarian defeated Pnoy to retain his SFV title, making him the first SFV player to successful defend the belt. At BCF 5, his next opponent is the wildly talented RISE|SmugDaBeast. Will Chris be able to maintain the first winning streak of the SFV belt, or will Smug be the first person to end a SFV winning streak at BCF?

Zero Suit Samus goes from zero to death in this combo video for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

Bayonetta might be the queen of one-touch kills in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, but Zero Suit Samus is making a claim at the crown. Watching these two characters’ combos is almost like watching mirror images — the combo tools that Bayonetta uses are very similar to ZSS, and as such she is just as much a threat.

This combo video from Horse showcases how her combos turn out to be quasi-reminiscent of Bayonetta — both with her uair carries into up+b kills, and her plethora of stage spikes.

Juri turns up the execution in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition in this combo video

Juri has been gaining popularity, due to Infiltration’s usage of her in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. While she is still agreed upon to be low tier, she has her utility and is always interesting to watch on a technical level.

This combo video shows some of the heavily situational and technical combos Juri is capable of, in a stylish way. On top of that, we see great usage of both of her V-Triggers as combo extensions, showing that there might be some utility to her V-Trigger II after all!
