SRK’s Electric Wind God Vids is back with another episode! We received a request to create a tutorial for performing the Electric Wind God Fist technique. Considering the name of our series, it’s a little silly we didn’t do this sooner, huh?
This is one of our most straightforward videos, focusing little on theory and heavily on execution. Ultimately, that’s all there is to the EWGF: refinement through practice!

If you thought tech was frozen in Mortal Kombat XL, think again. The game may have taken a back seat to Injustice 2 since its release, but there is still a community surrounding the title that still have passion for it, and combo videos and tech continue to surface.
This particular combo video features Sub-Zero in all three variations, showing off corner carries and freeze combos for days. We also see some amazing corner-only combos, with great juggles into grabs.
In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Ike is definitely one of those characters that can be described as a sleeping giant. He’s a slow-moving powerhouse in a game that prioritizes speed and movement — but with the right timing, a good effort and a little bit of “ETHER!” you could make up for what he lacks in agility with sheer might.
Dragon Smash has created a highlight reel pinning down 10 moments where Ike players went absolutely savage. Most of these plays come from top player Ryo, who is definitely someone you want to study if you’re interested in maining an Ike that is tip-top.
Check out Dragon Smash’s “Top 10 Brutal Ike Plays” below, and for the rundown on another one of Smash 4’s sleeping giants, check out Izaw’s Art of Mewtwo video.
Enchantress has been out for only a short time in Injustice 2, and we’re already seeing a great deal of content for her. For people who are looking to pick her up, there is a growing treasure trove of information at your disposal.
This combo video goes from practical to impractical, as you learn exactly what Enchantress has to offer. Starting with meterless, you then move into what you can do with her various meter burns. While damage is not displayed, the focus of this video is instead seeing exactly what’s going on during the combos.
With Dissidia Final Fantasy NT‘s Western release now upon us, people will certainly be in the lab with this title. Fortunately for those who want to see what they can do with this game, people who have their hands on the Japanese version have been posting their findings.
This combo video shows off some strong basic combos with a large swath of the cast, including characters like Onion Knight, Cloud, Ultimecia, and Tidus. Armed with these, you’ll be better equipped to cut and cast your way through to victory for your team.
We’re back with some more Dragon Ball FighterZ! Versus-style games are much more sandbox-like in combo potential, so it’s probably unsurprising that we’re still knee-deep in combo video submissions. Still, today’s roundup shows the community venturing a little bit more into mechanical breakdowns, showing that there might just be a bit more to the game then dumping your entire meter.
Here’s what the community has sent in today!

SNK had a pretty sizable booth at Evo Japan. The booth was about twice the size of most other booths at the event, with both a demo area and a shop for players to pick up some merchandise. It’s the former that concerns this article, T as the demo area was dedicated to letting players try out The King of Fighters XIV‘s newly-announced DLC character, Oswald.
For those who weren’t at the event, jiぇfu was able to capture some off-screen footage of him during a play session at the booth. In the footage below, they get a fair bit of testing of Oswald done, including some of his side-switching counter moves (taking control of both sticks).
In addition to this. SNK also had a small SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy setup in between their shop and the demo area. Here, they had cosplayers posing for photos, while some gamplay footage was played on a monitor behind them. jiぇfu also took some off-screen footage of the monitor, capturing a few pre-recorded matches that SNK was playing.
All of the community’s eyes were on Evo Japan 2018, and it was indeed an amazing event, with some interesting results. The whole world saw Infiltration return to his throne, reigning as king of Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition.
VesperArcade sat down to discuss the aftermath of the event, and specifically talked about MOV and HumanBomb’s differences in approach to Chun-Li, with the former sticking the V-Trigger I and the latter moving on to some creative uses of V-Trigger II. He also discussed various matches, including stormKUBO and Tokido, and Infiltration and John Takeuchi.
SNK brought SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy to the Evo Japan show floor, with a small booth where players could take pictures with cosplayers dressed up as the game’s characters, among whom was a big hint at the game’s next playable character. Now, for those who weren’t there, SNK has finally dropped a trailer revealing said character: Nakoruru.
The Evo Japan trailer for SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy gives us our first glimpse of Nakoruru as she appears in the game (literally, as her cosplayer was wearing her more-traditional outfit at Evo). In addition to this, we get more gameplay snippets of the other girls.
This is on top of revealing the set up for the game’s story, where the girls have been kidnapped after the last tournament and find themselves in a mysterious mansion — basically the same setup as the April Fool’s webcomic spinoff Nariyuki Quest. Whether or not this means that Kukri, *ahem* Sandel Dark, is the final boss of the game has yet to be revealed.
Check out the trailer — in both English and Japanese — as well as Nakoruru’s official art below.
SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy is set to hit PlayStation 4 and Switch sometime this summer.
