Capcom UK’s WinnerStaysOn Sessions brought incoming Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition DLC fighter Falke out to play yesterday; LoganSama hosted Luffy, Problem X, Packz, Wil2pac, Flawless Deku, and Real Menace on the Sessions to try the fierce Neo Shadaloo fighter out and explore how she works in-game. If you missed the stream live, you can catch the full replay of it in the video below:

Falke joins the SFVAE roster next Tuesday, April 24th.

See some Falke gameplay in action on Capcom-Unity’s Street Fighter V stream today

The Guardian Hawk takes flight this afternoon on Capcom-Unity’s stream.

Street Fighter V fans can see more of the upcoming DLC character Falke on today’s demonstration stream from Capcom-Unity. Showcasing some live gameplay of the Season 3 addition, the stream kicks off at 3:00 p.m. PT today.

Falke is set to join the SFVAE cast next week, on April 24th. Make sure you check out her reveal trailer, and Capcom-Unity’s breakdown of her V-System.

Early Access indie title Slashers: The Power Battle adds new character Efe “The Ottoman Slapper” to its roster

“Victory for my King!” A new sword-swinging warrior joins the Power Battle.

In-development indie Slashers: The Power Battle — currrently available as part of Steam Early Access — has added a new fighter to its roster: Efe, the Ottoman Slapper! As described by the publisher:

Efe is a dagger-wielding, energy-ball throwing Ottoman fighter with damaging focused attacks. Thanks to his rigorous training (slapping marble blocks), his slap attacks send opponents flying across the arena. The newest warrior added to Slashers excels at switching low and high moves rapidly which keeps opponents unbalanced and gives him the opportunity to deal devastating combos.

Having arrived on Steam last year, Slashers has been gradually adding new content, bringing the “old school” fighting game closer to full commercial release. “It’s been a fantastic Early Access journey so far, we’re working closely with our amazing community to make Slashers the ultimate old school fighting game,” says Galip Kartoglu, founder of Stun Games. “We have so many more epic ideas to introduce into Slashers, and our powerful Ottoman slapper is a brilliant addition to the game’s diverse roster!”

Registration now open for all regions in the Capcom Pro Tour 2018 Online Ranking events

Join the Pro Tour from your own console (or PC) with these regional online Ranking events!

While we already knew the first of the 2018 Capcom Pro Tour Online Ranking events would hit the LATAM region this weekend, Capcom has revealed the full details for the online leg of the 2018 CPT, and registration has now opened for all regions to compete in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition!

Head over to the Capcom Pro Tour site to see the rules and details (notably: the Kanzuki Beach, The Grid, Flamenco Tavern, and Skies of Honor stages, and R. Mika’s cheerleader Professional Costume, are all banned from use) and to confirm what region you are eligible to compete in. Then head to smash.gg to join the fight.

Capcom teases an upcoming Falke reveal for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition

Looks like we’ll be seeing something for the next DLC fighter very soon.

Blanka’s been out in the wild long enough that we’re all itching to see some details on the next DLC character for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition — Ed’s Neo Shadaloo compatriot Falke. So far, all we’ve seen of her is some tantalizing glimpses alongside Ed in the SFVAE cinematic opening and his own story mode ending, and her theme’s inclusion on the SFVAE soundtrack.

Well, today Capcom teased some background flavor on Twitter about a character that, in context of our DLC expectations, almost certainly refers to Falke:

The inclusion of the plans for “tomorrow” are likely pointing to further reveals for the character, so keep your eyes peeled, as we might see Falke in action very soon.

RED BULL CONQUEST reveals dates, locations, and hosts for qualifying events in Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, & Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2

Find out when you’ll be able to RISE, RALLY, and CONQUER in your own region!

A chance to show the nation what you can do in your favorite fighting games is coming soon to a city near you. Alongside some hot new “recruitment” posters to help get you fired up, Red Bull has revealed the dates and locations of the qualifying stops for RED BULL CONQUEST. Starting in Chicago at the Ignite Gaming Lounge on April 28, the action will culminate in the finals at Washington D.C. on November 16-18. In between, the tournament circuit will hit 13 more cities across the United States with qualifying events in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, Tekken 7, and Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 — with one additional online qualifier — to determine which region has the strongest fighters in these games!

At least one of them will be in attendance at all of the regional events, and expect them all to be on-site at the Washington D.C. National Final and Last Chance Qualifier in November.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announces the 2018 Injustice 2 Pro Series; Includes a stop at Evo 2018

Amateurs and pros alike from all over the world can fight for the title of World Champion.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced 2018’s Injustice 2 Pro Series, the second season of the global esports circuit for the popular NetherRealm Studios fighter Injustice 2.

From the WBIE press release:

The 2018 series sees Intersport a leader in sports, entertainment and lifestyle based media and marketing platforms, teaming up with Samsung, SIMPLE Mobile, GameStop, Northern Arena, Gamelta and a to be named European program to offer players of all ranks across the globe a chance to compete in different programs for a slice of the $150,000 USD prize pool. The best performers from the various programs will have the chance to qualify for the 2018 Injustice 2 Pro Series Grand Finals Presented by Samsung and SIMPLE Mobile taking place this fall.

The 2018 Injustice 2 Pro Series Presented by Samsung and SIMPLE Mobile will feature five live competitions throughout North America and Europe, in addition to three online cups where competitors can earn points to qualify for 12 spots in the Injustice 2 Pro Series Grand Finals. Four spots in the grand finals will be reserved for winners of different programs: Canada’s Northern Arena Injustice 2 Elite Circuit, Latin America’s Liga Latina, a European program with more details to come, and a last chance qualifier spot.

The Injustice 2 Pro Series circuit will include the tournament to be held at Evo 2018!
